Job Shadowing a Scientist

The RSC allows K-12 and college students to complete job shadowing experiences with our team members. These experiences help students determine whether being a scientist is the right career path for them. In addition to shadowing, students can have the opportunity to meet employees from many other member organizations that reside at TREC.

Katherine job shadowed the RSC staff in April of 2017. Here she is pictured assisting our staff with taking measurements for the dimensions of a restoration site on Presque Isle State Park.

Eva, left, job shadowed the RSC for a few days in July. Here she is pictured assisting our staff with collecting data on amphibian species on Presque Isle State Park.
