What to wear, what to bring?
The SSEL camp is an action-packed day camp – no overnight stay required, so leave the sleeping bags at home!
Here’s what campers should bring to make the most of their adventure:
- Dress for adventure: Prepare for both indoor and outdoor fun! Pack comfortable, closed-toe shoes for hiking, layers to stay comfy in changing weather, and don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for sunny days.
- Be bug and sun-ready: Pack insect repellent and sunscreen to stay protected while exploring!
- Medications?: If needed, bring any labeled meds along with clear instructions.
- Splash time: Towel and swimsuit – it’s time to make a splash!
- Lunch: Don’t forget to pack a delicious lunch to keep up your energy for all the exciting activities!
What to do during bad weather?
The SSEL will hold activities rain or shine. If the weather is too severe for the outdoors, indoor “rain day” activities have been planned for.
What if my child needs medication during the camp day?
The SSEL camp is ready for action, rain or shine! No matter the weather, the fun never stops! If Mother Nature throws a curveball, we’ve got exciting indoor “rainy day” activities lined up to keep the adventure going strong. Let the weather worry about itself – your camper’s day will be packed with thrills, no matter what!
What are the age requirements for my child to attend the camp?
This camp is an epic adventure designed just for middle schoolers in grades 5-8!
