Donate for the Buoy!

The RSC is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Lake Erie Nearshore Buoy. This weather, water, wave buoy system measures parameters in real-time and posts the data to www.PALakeErieBuoy.com.

The implementation of this project was through a grant from the Great Lakes Observing System and in collaboration with the National Weather Service. Additional support for the equipment and promotion of the buoy was provided through a grant from Boat U.S.

Future operation of this system requires community support through public donations from organizations and individuals.
