Pollinator Pathway
The purpose of Go Native Erie’s Pollinator Pathway Project is to provide a network of pollinator-friendly forage and habitat sites in our region. Individuals, organizations and municipalities can participate in this citizen-science program by offering chemical-free nesting sites and food sources for pollinators; including bees, butterflies and moths, beetles and other pollinating insects and mammals.
There are many contributing factors for pollinator decline. Habitat loss and fragmentation of natural areas are directly associated with pollinator issues. By creating “safe havens” for pollinators, we can help support these vital creatures and provide wildlife corridors in our community.
No site is too big or too small to participate! Just set aside an area for pollinators (and other wildlife) and sign up today. Participants may receive free or discounted native plants, exclusive educational opportunities and insider access to pollinator-themed events.
